COVID SAFE EVENT
We’re being COVID Cautious
At Santa’s Wonderland the health and safety of all our visitors is important. We’ve worked very closely with SA Health to make sure that the event is safe and part of that includes some strict safety protocols that we have put in place. You can view our Covid Safe Plan Here. We also encourage you to view the most recent public health advice before attending our event – simply click this link here and you’ll be directed to SA Health’s website. At the moment mandatory vaccination is not required, but like everything related to Covid, this is subject to change. We’ve always respected the direction from SA Health and will continue to do so.
Tickets to this event (like all major events) are non refundable, as per the terms and conditions of sale.
They are however fully transferable should you wish to sell them, or pass them onto a friend, to attend instead of you. Tickets will need to be formally transferred through Ticketebo so that we have updated patron details for contact tracing purposes.
In the event that a session cannot proceed due to government direction, you will be scheduled into a new session.
If the event is cancelled due to government direction, a full refund will be issued.
Who can Ice Skate?
Ice skating is available for adults and children 2 years and up. Children are the responsibility of their guardian onsite, and must adhere to Santa’s Wonderland strict TERMS & CONDITIONS.
Do I have to Purchase Tickets Online?
Santa’s wonderland tickets can be purchased online and on-site, however sessions can sell out so we recommend you book early online to avoid disappointment. Onsite Ticket purchase will need to complete “Check in” details and Attendee records will be made available to health officials upon request, if required for contact tracing.
What will the Crowds be Like?
Weekends and school holiday session do sell out. Capacity in each session is capped, to ensure you have a great time and to adhere to the limit of 1 person per 2 square metre density requirements in accordance with current SA health direction.
Covid-safe Marshals will be onsite to ensure Covid-19 social distancing measures are strictly adhered to.

Can I post my Photos on Social Media?
Yes! We encourage you to post photos of your experiences from the day. Don’t forget to tag us.
With 38 sessions, including morning, afternoon and evening there is a time to suit every family. Session times are run daily from the 3rd– 24th this December:
- 10am – 1pm
- 2pm – 5pm
- 6pm – 9pm
Booking a Santa’s Photo Package through Ticketebo
When making your Booking through Ticketebo, You will also have the option to Book your Santa’s Photo Experience. Please make sure that the Santa’s Wonderland Session Corresponds to the same Santa’s Photo Session.

What age is Santa’s Wonderland suitable for?
The amusement rides vary but are all suitable for children to ride alone as long as they can sit and support their selves. Some rides are suitable for adults to ride with children.
Please note: that there are no extreme “white knuckle” amusement rides at Santa’s Wonderland.
Do the Doors Open Earlier?
The event will open at your session start time, this includes access to all rides, activities and entertainment. Please arrive 30 mins prior to your session start time to scan your tickets and be ready when the magical doors open. Please note: To adhere to density requirements, the entrance and Pre-show entertainment area has been expended into the Atrium. Audio and visual screens will accessible so you can still see and hear the show and hear Santa arriving on the roof!
Where Can I Park?
Adelaide Showgrounds has plenty of onsite parking! Please click here for full details. Pricing for parking is currently:
- First half hour: Free
- ½ to 2 hour: $3.00
- Over 2 hours: $8.00
Further charges will apply if vehicles are parked for over 24 hours.
Is Food Available?
Santa’s Wonderland festive food treats cater for the whole family! There is lots of choices and something for the whole family to enjoy. Fresh fairy floss and hot popping popcorn adds a touch to the festive Aussie season. Also, homemade and decorated Gingerbread men.
Can I bring my own Food to the Event?
Yes, you can bring your own food!
Is the Event Pram Friendly?
We have aimed for the Santa’s Wonderland to be as accessible as possible for prams. There is plenty of room to walk around.
Is the Event Wheel Chair Friendly?
Santa’s Wonderland is wheelchair friendly. There is plenty of room for a wheel chair to be maneuvered around the grounds.
Is Santa’s Wonderland Sensory Sensitive?
Santa’s wonderland in its very nature is a sensory overload! Including moving rides, lights, colour, music and noise, smells and crowds. It is difficult to achieve a sensory sensitive session, we recommend attending mid-week sessions as there are less crowds. Santa’s wonderland has multiple exit points so it is easy to quickly move outside into a quiet, light space to relax. Santa’s Wonderland is working together with Autism SA to implement further sensory measures to make the event Sensory friendly. If your child is autistic, you may like to collect a coloured wrist band at the entrance so that our friendly Santa’s helpers can identify children that maybe sensory sensitive and allow special consideration where appropriate.
The person with the disability is required to buy a ticket as normal. Their Companion is not required to buy a ticket but should show a valid companion card on arrival at the venue where they will be let in free of charge.
